The Summer Session at The Heritage Academy brings individuals during the summer from many different Universities and schools in the United States to teach courses to the Heritage students and hold workshops to encourage entrepreneurial projects.
During this session, American students hold special reading clinics, and teach short courses in subjects like American history, creative writing, music, and art. This is a great opportunity for students who want to gain experience in teaching and be exposed to a school that values education, leadership and entrepreneurship.
This annual summer program has had over 120 American volunteers in the last seven years. Check the blog in the Summer of 2012 for updates on what the students are doing together!
